So, no RPRF requests, no document requests, nothing much today ?

Whoever is working on October applications is really slow. It is being said that April is October Applicants' month but I don't feel so... its so frustrating... In next 3 days.. it will be one month since i did my medicals... I didn't get any update from CIC... just 3 lines in ECAS.

Buddy, go ahead and pay the RPRF upfront. Do not wait for them to reply. This has worked for many others and me, so will work for you too. Best of Luck!

WOW, congrats! May I ask when did you have your medical request and when did you do the medical exam. Thanks
I did my medical in may last year and RPRF paid upfront in December

this agent is kidding, why not saying 210 months?

Now, actually, they changed it to 19 months on the website today, not 21 ... ;D

Re: Inquiry about paying upfront RPRF fee

No they haven't changed the processing times, its still 18 months I just looked on the website.

Thanks for the advice friend. I'll give it a thought.
The only reason I was not paying RPRF upfront is because I have no idea if they are working on my application or not. Call Centre agents won't say a word except their false processing time statements.

So, I was thinking if I should just wait for RPRF request so that atleast I know that they are looking into my file.
If I pay upfront RPRF, it will be whole mystery until I get PPR. (considering that processing time now is 19 months)

I don't know if my thinking is correct,or not !!!. Confused.

It says the same for me.

I'm an October 14th, got my CoPR a few weeks backs; doing an inland landing in 2 weeks in Edmonton.
Juste got my BOWP approved... My visa expires 3 days after my landing, I applied for my BOWP in February 10th and I didn't want to cancel the application just in case... :/

Delete the browser history and cookies showed me 19 months as well ;)

Oh no, I'm super happy about my CoPR (I can't stop smiling since I received it), but when I called CIC regarding my BOWP application the guy told me that the officer would see that my CoPR was approved and I'd get a refund automatically. Looks like I won't get it! And a refund would have been more than welcome...

f**k! 19 monthS!!!

Holly crap!!!!!!!!! Not expected this at this point..they want all of us to apply for work permit to earn money and invest those money in infrastructure..Fucking Government Playing politics....BC
