We drove 5 hours to get our medicals done, sometimes its just what you have to do!

I'm a Oct/9 applicant. AOR received: Feb/9/2015. MR Req: Mar/16/2016.

I'm based in Richmod Hill (close to Toronto). There are good reviews about Dr Scott Marlock in Kitchener. But it is a long drive for me and requires prior appt - which is NOT available before Apr/1. Any thoughts on (1) Francis Li - 751 Pape Ave, Toronto and (2) Martin Taylor - 3300 Bloor St West, Toronto.

I received MR request today. Do we need photos for eMeds ? Covering letter says it is NOT required, but the IMM1017E form has space for a picture. Not sure which is right.

I read in the August 2014 thread that Pape Ave would fake the test results and have you come back. Not sure if this is true, but better be safe than sorry.

That's good enough. if we were required to submit any document for it they would have asked or provided it along with the e-mail

btw, I just received an e-mail telling me they received my medical results.

I am August 1 applicant, Medical request was received in 17 April 2015 and done on 22 april. They asked RCMP again feb 10 and address information yesterday.

We live very close to Richmond Hill and drove to Kitchener for the medical tests. They are pretty good. They upload the reports on eMedical within three working days and send you an email when they have done so! They are very polite and best part is there is Zero waiting time.
If you ask me, I'd recommend Kitchener.

Thanks Anklet for your inputs. Do we need passport size photos to be taken along. Documentation from CIC says for eMeds, pictures are NOT required. But when I look at the form IMM1017E, I see space for photo ? Did you take pictures along with you ?

If the clinic is eMedical enabled (most are), then you do not need to take photographs with you.

It's completely up to you. I waited for medical request before sending them. Other have done upfront. Seems to save 1-2 weeks of processing time

Hello Friends, I am October 16, 2014 applicant. Wanted to provide an update from my side. I received Ready for Visa email from CIC on 29th Feb. To let you all know, I had done upfront medicals last year and also submitted RPRF upfront.
