You call your local panel physician, make an appointment, do your medicals and the panel physician will file them in the CIC e-med database. Your eCas should change to "Medicals have been received" within one week. That's it.

Hi i went to local penal for upfront medical but they inform me that they have upfront medical for workers/students/visitors on temprary visa.There is nothing called upfront medical in case of permanent residency in there e medical system.Doctor checked her system online portal to find out any upfront medical process for PR applicants... Bu5 nothing was there....any clue?

I am planning to get my medicals done upfront as well. How does the doctor know that he/she has to upload/send the results against your application number ?

I am going tomorrow to get my medicals done and have been asked to pay CAD $190. How much did you pay for yours ?

they will ask you for your application number and your passport. they will also ask for you uci

I have been reading that some of you guys have started doing upfront medical. I`m too an October applicant. So, when actually are we expecting to get medical request because August applicants are still waiting for MR. What if you guys do upfront and the validity expires before its verified?

Actually We are all hoping that CIC will look into our files in this year only. In that case we should be Ok as validity of your medical is 1 year always.

I called CIC twice and they said, its 13 months from the time you submit your application
