I got my AOR today. I mailed the application on October 1.

Congratulations Vipinuk84. You seem to be the 1st person to open the Account for Oct applicants !!! Hope next week should have some positive news for some of us..

Can you tell me exactly which date your application reached CIC ? Tracker states a different date.. hence checking.

I'm sending today application for BOWP without AOR and I hoped that they will approve it!

As I am out of the country I was not following these group. Today I opened this page and I read all te comment from all our friend. It's really sad that lots of people getting back their application. I have applied on oct 16 and application reached on OCT 20. my credit card was charged on Jan 8. I had read in some topics that so many of us who applied on or after OCT 20 getting back their app. As my CC was already charged? Is there any possibility of mine Of getting app back ? Please reply it's really confusing moment

there were also guys that they CC was charged and they got back an application...so the fact that yours CC was charged do not guarantee you that you will get AOR:/
you need to wait...

It has been confirmed by the countries top notch immigration lawyers that the 20 October applicants will be ok - go enjoy and not worry mate, all will be ok!

Does anybody have a screenshot of CIC website saying-Total applications received towards the overall cap: 4,537 / 8,000?

There is NO point of having the screen shot, if you are planning a legal route. They also it's more of a guestimate and NOT the actual count. These days, how hard can it be, to display the actual no of AORs issued on daily basis along with the received date of the application currently being processed. eBay does a better job and handles billions of requests and CIC cant even invest on a system that can handle a max of 100,000 applications in a year.

Yesterday February 6 we received a friend's application returned due to cap was reached.

His application was received and processed on October 21, returning letter was signed on January 28.

No fees were charged As far I know

you need to wait...

Per immigration lawyer, that is impossible. If cap is reached, they will not send the draft or cc for cash. Legally, they are bound to return the fees. At later point in time, if they figure out that something is wrong with the application, then NO fees is returned. I havent seen OR heard of anyone receiving the application back saying cap is reached, yet money taken from bank
