Neevan, Did your one years qualifying work experience includes four months off campus work? Or that is a different thing?

I got this email about my express entry application today so I think it's good news that they have withdrawn it because I think my old route should be finalized very soon. I never made the request to withdraw my application even though the email said I did.

This refers to recent correspondence received at our office requesting to withdraw your Application for
Permanent Residence in Canada.
Your application has now been withdrawn.
As a result, your file has been closed and no further processing will take place. Any forms used for the
purpose of filing the application will not be returned.
If you have paid a Right of Permanence Residence Fee (RPRF) for this application, you are eligible to
receive a refund. Our financial office will be notified automatically; please be patient as this procedure
may take several weeks.
Thank you for your interest in Canada.

I believe only jobs that gives you T4 forms is eligible for CEC. Intern experience or part time jobs are not included.

Not entirely true. You can have either 1 year of full-time or 2 years of part-time experience. Or a combination of both that will add up to the same amount.

But yes, internships and/or self-employment do not count.
