federal skilled worker occupation caps out for 2174 noc code.

seems like there are no aor`s issued or fee encashes for 2174 recently..as per August spreadsheet.

Does it mean that even applicaitons applied under NOC 2174 - CEC are also capped out

Its freaking me out..
has anybody else applied under 2174

There is no CAP for CEC under NOC A level. Just relax and don make others panic
We all will get our AOR's. I need my AOR before Jan 1st week to apply for BOWP, else I have to leave Canada as my WP expires on Jan 15th.
I am more worried then you. Keeping fingers crossed.

Can anyone shed some information on how to apply BOWP online for primary applicant and dependent.
In my case I have applied for PR during Oct 2014, waiting for AOR. My spouse doesnt have any workpermit, has only TRV and staying in Canada with me.

My Questions are:
1. Can I apply OWP for my wife as well (though she isnt working in Canada).
2. Can I apply online with one CIC account or need to create separate for spouse.

Please help.

Yes, you will have to fill different set of forms for both of you. If you are in a WP currently, even now she is eligible to apply for an Open WP. You need not to wait for the AOR#. All you need is an SIN# for her which you can apply and then create a separate login in CIC for her. Process is pretty straight forward.. She can start working sooner than you expect

Lot of Aug'14 applicatns got their AOR last week....Even the CIC updated the number of applications accepted to 4233 as of 7th Nov'14....looking at the aug spreadsheet the average number of days to get the AOR is now close to 90 days:

So can I request admin to change the formula on our sheet to change it to 90 rather than 82.....

Looking at the current trend, if everything is OK the money would be deducted in between 80 - 90 days....

hi everyone,

i have a question. i submitted my cec application on october as well. they received it on october 6th. what i am confuse about is that, are they gonna accept application till the 8000 cap fills up or till december 2014 despite the cap number? i am worried because now the CIC have slowed down and instead of 1 month its taking more longer to get the AOR. almost 2.5 month. and in december more people goes on holidays. so are they gonna continue to accept cec application next year as well if the total cap is not filled?
