I know, it's really weird... 2 emails from them in 2 days... Especially since they need tons of papers (T4 that I can't provide, etc) as well... So I have to do my medical in 30 days even though my application my be refused in 60 days because my boss screwed up my pay checks... Makes me a bit mad to have to pay for the doctor...

I can send you a copy of the email for my medical a, but it's all I French...

Happy Canada day guys, I truly hope you'll get some good news soon... :)

Hi marmaht, just wondering why MR is in French? is there a English version?

Is it always like this?

August 21 applicant also got MR, is that true CIC are isolating cases?

Then I need to pray more and more.

what do you mean "they are isolating cases" ?

are they just picking up a few applicants and not gonna proceed with others ? this is horrible

I got a medical request 5 min back .. Surprised Shocked

It is in French because I am French so I asked to have all the papers in French.... It's a bit easier for me ;)

But if you want, I can copy/past the email, the document the doctor should fill is attached to the email though (in Pdf) so I can't copy it!

hey,, can u plz let us know when is ur wp expiring ?

just want to figure out if there is some specific reason they processed october application first ..

I arrived in March 2012 with a work permit. It expired, got renewed, etc...

I applied for PR on October 14th 2014, received my AOR in February 2015 (around the 15th?). I asked right away for a BOWP as my work visa was about to expire in March 2015.

I am on a BOWP since April 2015, and until April 2016.

I have no clue why they asked for my MR: they need my T4 (can't have them yet so I'm screwed) and some other papers (like Police Checks), and they need the results of the MR within 30 days. I can't even talk to a doctor to book an appointment.... :/

why ? are there no appointments available with doctors ? are they pretty booked ? you can try a different location.

getting MR done should not be that of a hassle.

I contacted all the doctors in Edmonton, AB, and I am waiting for them to call me back (as I cannot book an appointment directly...). It seems that they have a few weeks of waiting list...

why do not try Calgary?

If I don't have any news by tomorrow morning, I will... But I am already taking days off to fly everywhere and get my police check certificates while I only started my new job 3 weeks ago...

This PR process can be very stressful.

Guys - those who have received Medical Request and RPRF - hearty congratulations.

Others - i see that both these Applicants are from France and their Medical requests emails are in French which i assume should be based on their preferred language should be French.

I see a trend that CIC might be prioritizing and processing applicants who have chosen French as the preferred language.

Makes sense ?

Our turn should come very soon. As always, patience is the secret of the game !
