Whoop!! Got my AOR at 9:21PM.

App Arrived: October 20th, 2014
CC Charged: January 8th, 2015
AOR Received: February 18th, 2015

Hopefully they will speed up the process now that they have issued most/all AORs for the old CEC people.

Finally received my AOR at 9:04pm Toronto time! So relieved. If someone could please update the spreadsheet that would be awesome.

My application was received at Sydney on Oct 20th.

Hi All,

I haven't received my AOR yet. I am eagerly waiting for it ..!!

My application was received on Oct 14th
Charged on 2nd Jan

Most of the guys received AOR who's application was received on 14th Oct. I checked my spam mails too, but didn't receive anything from CEC mail ID. My mail id is so lengthy. I am thinking that there may be chances to miss typed my mail id. Not sure, but just guess... Any chance of happening this.. ???

I tried checking the status in CEC site, But it's not showing any status. I am planning to give a call to them ? Any suggestions ?

Mine is received on 21st , my file is not back yet , but cc is also not charged ..

My application is received between 21 to 23 . i don't know the exact date . But my Bank draft is cashed on jan 8 as per AOR.

finger crossed for today as I can see from the earlier post that lots of 20 oct applicant received their AOR yesterday. My app received on 20 oct and cc charged on 8 jan.. eagerly waiting for AOR..

I got my AOR yesterday.

For anyone panicking, I got mine on the 18th Feb and it was received on 17th October. My OWP expires on April 4th so I was panicking!
My friend's was received on 15th October and was charged on Dec 31st but still hasn't got hers. I think she will get hers in the next few days though, as seems to be the pattern on here and on the spreadsheet. I wonder if they just give a big pile of applications to people and it's whoever gets through them quicker affects when people get their AOR!
I paid via money order which was cashed on Jan 8th.

I now need a BOWP. Does anyone know if it's the application form IMM5710? There seems to be nothing on there to make reference to the AOR, so I don't know why we have to wait for the AOR until we can apply for it?

Hiii

This is for all those who's still waiting for AOR when everyone else applied around the same time has already received it (I am in the same boat so I did some research and found this)...maybe you'll find this helpful as well:

- Go to ECAS website

- Try logging in with your UCI (the 8 digit no. on your work permit) and see if your status is showing up as 'In Progress'

- If it is showing up as "In Progress", it probably means your AOR was issued but got lost in somewhere, but your application is fine - it is getting processed. If you want to receive another copy of AOR, you can either call or email CIC and ask them to check if your email address on file is correct and resend the info. I think the email address is "CPC-CTD-Ottawa @ cic.gc.ca" (I'm not 100% certain though, please correct me if I am wrong.)

My application was received on Oct 14th, but no AOR as of right now. I was really worried until I learnt I can check ECAS even without an AOR.

My status is "In Progress".

Hi, thanks alot. I checked my ecas status and it shows in process. I might call CIC today to find out if my email is correct on the file or not.
admin please update the spreadsheet under oba_14 - status shows "in process" but looks like file number got lost in the middle somewhere. CC charged 31st decemeber

Called CIC and confirmed they have sent me the file# 2 days ago, but they have my wrong email address on the file. rep said they cannot resend me the file number, but I can go to ECAS status and check the status over there.
