1 month has passed after I received an RPRF Request Letter and no movement from my application.
Background Check is still Not Started. Totally 1000000% silence.

So frustrating.

Guys, just caught a GU in my account last hour. Application/Profile updated but nothing changed. BGC is still “We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.”

Same for me, not even eligibility started. Dead silent after medicals passed on Dec 16.

When did you find out your eligibility is passed?

My eligibility in the new tracker changed from "not started" to "in progress" on 2/14. I called IRCC on 2/22 and was told the eligibility is recommend passed. I suspect they reviewed my file on 2/13 or 2/14.

Yep, I think so!

Finally reached out today to IRCC regarding my first GU after MEP happened last Friday, but he wasn’t so nice though. Just told me that Eligibility has been passed, Criminality/Security he said these all related to Background check which is not started (same in the tracker), but I told him that a month ago when I was calling Criminality was in progress but agent was keep saying same thing that overall isn’t started. I don’t understand why he was insisting saying like that and at what stage I am now?

Eligibility, medical and BG all show’s completed for me.

for wife, medical and BG completed and eligibility shows not started.

should i expect confirmation email soon?

My tracker got updated today saying completed for eligibility, medical and BG. Dependents medical and BG completed, eligibility not started (i dont know if they check dependent’s eligibility).
