PNP's are rocking these days. I guess their petition is working.

I guess we should start CEC petition too. Now we are relegated to previous PNP processing, nothing is moving. We also pay taxes, have families waiting with problems of daycare, school for our kids. Damn, I am frustrated!
We should definitely start a petition being that we are already in Canada . It should be faster.

No nothing. Did you? What's your AOR?
My AOR is Nov 18th. For me it just says background check in progress and checking my eligibility

by end of next month, I will have to move back to my home country as my WP and assignment comes to an end. Its little tricky and trying to check what are my options?

You can apply for an Open Work permit (using the AOR letter) until your PR application gets processed.

You can also apply for temporary resident status while you wait, you well get 6 months. If you haven't soldapp for BOWP yet.

I applied for federal while being in Quebec. so open work permit is not an option until I move out of Quebec. Temp resident would also have processing time and don't think I have enough time now.
BTW I just heard from few friends out side of Canada who applied for PR and they received request for passport submission in 4-6 wks after getting AOR. Inland processing is taking way too longer than expected.
