I see your expendable view under profile, how you know all the dates? is it from GCMS noteS?

I have ordered GCMS 3 times and 4th time is in process. I am expecting notes from CBSA as well, that will give me a clear view of where they are with my security checks. Ordered CSIS notes but didn't get the document it has been 40 days already.

The same way you order gcms notes, the only thing is you have to choose CBSA or CSIS instead of Immigration and Refugee Canada

so what does CBSA has to do with express entry? Can you please elaborate?? I can associate CSIS.. but how CBSA?

CIC does the background check in collaboration with CBSA, ISIS. CBSA, CSIS, Interpol conduct this check, they check you in regards to your travels, work history, country of origin to make sure you are not a threat to Canadian security.

ok makes sense! but being a CEC already kind of assures that you are not a threat to the nation and that is why you are here

oh yes, the processing time on the website is a lie. they take additional days. I kept raising CSE until I got it approved. I received ghost update one day earlier and the next day official letter approval was uploaded on my profile. I just received the BOWP in mail. so yes add 20-30 days on top.

Finally, after 85 days, my BOWP got approved. Now I’ll devote all my energy waiting for my CEC.

CSIS only informs you if your screening is in progress or not. CBSA gives you dates as well like when it was started, there are 5 activities it gives you status of those activities.

guys.. would like to share something.. i got to know through one of the whatsapp group that one CEC was denied yesterday after 11 months.

it is scary as hell.. so much waiting then disappointment.
