Hi all!

I called CIC yesterday and I was told that my application is in Ottawa since June. My current status is Reviewing eligibility and processing background check. They even confirmed that my application will probably get delayed because it will turn 6 months in 2 weeks.
AOR May 22.

Really sorry to hear about the delay! I also called CIC yesterday and came to know that the processing time is, well, not precisely 6 months, it is till the expiration of your Med. results.

MAY-AORs are the most suffered ones. We all are waiting for some progress on our application. There have been a lot of delays. Just try and stay calm and hopeful. Good things will happen just. Keep updating about any updates and especially, ghost updates.

what date is your AOR? also, have you tried calling CIC?.. most people get lucky and the agents answer them well. have not been the same with me.. they always say to wait.

My AOR May 10... I tried once for CIC they told to wait for completion of BG check...

dude.. call CIC today no matter what. you are completing 6 months mark today! they say they will tell you everything once 6 months are completed. have you ordered the notes yet? just dedicate all your day/night to contact CIC today.

It's almost 6 months for you, my friend! Please don't wait, no more!

Call CIC, you won't get connect right away but have patience and try until you're in the waiting queue. Also, order GCMS if not already! All the best and keep updating your progress!

Just wondering, what is your timeline so far and also any ghost updates?

Don't have any idea about that? Is there any payment for order GCMS?
Is there any benefit for ordering GCMS?
Anybody is here on May AOR? Please give your valuable advice..
