Got my GCMS notes yesterday. I am confused.
In the notes it says.
EXPRESS ENTRY - APPLICATION SENT FOR R10 REVIEW MIN Score 488 - ITA Score : 1,106 PRINCIPAL APPLICANT APPLICATION PROMOTED: Existing UCI REVIEW NOTES FOR REPRESENTATIVE: NO

I wish they could use full stops so you could understand what they mean.

Does the line mean R10 check was complete or it was just sent for review.

Hey Guys! I received an email from CIC this morning giving me instructions re sending my passport to the visa office. Nothing has changed on my online application. I might be a bit paranoid but how do I know it is not a scam? And does that mean that my PR has been granted?

The from email should look like this "CPCO-FinalRequest / CTDO-DemandeFinale (CIC)" <IRCC.CPCO-FinalRequest-CTDO-DemandeFinale.IRCC@cic.gc.ca> I had got this from one of the seniors.

She is in Visitor Status or stated on permit as Visitor Record.

I am not an expert. My suggestion is to apply for the extension of visitor visa. If you are in the Ottawa area PM me and if you want, I will introduce you to a person who is an expert in this and will help you through.

Thanks fkl for all your info and Sorry for bugging in this forum with lot of queries. I am totally worried now and I have few more queries.

1. I started applying for open work permit extension for my wife and have got online forms like IMM5710E for extension. So issue is like for extending open work permit which option to select? Since she is not attached with any employer....

2. How to add my 4 year old daughter to this application for her status extension ? or Do I need to create a separate application? - Please guide me.

You are most welcome.

If you are applying for extension, you would chose the option of extend your stay as a worker. Then if there is no type as open, you would chose "other". If you see any option to describe the type of permit e.g. where it asks for details of employer / intended job in Canada, you would write "Not applicable - Bridging / Spousal OR Post graduate work permit (whatever you situation is)"

At some point during your application, the system would ask for dependents, you would say yes and add your child there.

This would enable the forms required for the child to be included in the application and would be submitted together as a complete single application.

For a dependent child who lives with you, it is a temporary resident application. However, it is not the same as visitor trv. It allows the child to stay with you as long as your own WP expiry and makes him / her eligible for medicals with no restrictions like max six month stay etc.

People often term this as TRV with visitor record.

Its nothing you should pay any attention to. I believe a while back this forum (which is hosted by a immigration lawyer website, in case you noticed), used to put that as a classification.

There is no official significance of this term with CIC as far as express entry goes.

The closest possible term with any reasonable meaning is related to refugee claims where some profiles can be "Pre-removal risk assessment – Exemptions to the bar" based upon a criteria
