Hello guys,

My situation:
My work experience consists of working fulltime for 2 summers (2 * 4 months * 40 hrs/week) and parttime for fall and winter in between ( 8 months * 20 hrs/week) as a software developer in Canada.

My Questions:
Should I provide one letter stating the different periods with their salaries or should I provide a separate letter for each period?
If one letter, whats a proper format for that?

Thank you.

With the schedule you described, it sounds like you were doing this work while studying in Canada. If that is the case, you cannot count the work experience.

The first 8 months I was on a post grad work permit from my bachelors. The second 8 months were while studying my master's.

Does it not count this way?

If you were studying full-time for your masters, then no, you cannot count the work experience.

You can probably count the first summer if you had applied for your PGWP by then. Not sure how the 2nd summer fits in...

You´ll need to figure out how many weeks of full time and how many weeks of part-time work were done under the PGWP (but not while studying) to be able to calculate your eligibility.
