I have a friend who just got ITA to apply for pr today at a score of 520. If she adds her spouse in Canada my score will jump to 523, with two years of work experience in Canada . She didn’t add him to the initial application as accompanying, bcs that will drop her scorer. But end of this month will make her work experience two years and she’ll be able to bump her score. Can she now add the spouse and submit. Or she should submit alone and sponsor the husband later

So she adds him as accompanying and score goes up to 523? If he is working in Canada then should be accompanying or risk getting PFL.

Yes, he’s in Canada working already. She didn’t want to add him cos the score works have dropped. But at the end of the month post ITA, she would have gotten two years experience and even with adding him then her score jumps to 523

She must include him so she waits for score to increase, and then applies. Risking PFL since he is working in Canada now.

You should have included him from the start as accompanying. You’ll need to wait and see how strict the VO and IRCC is being because you technically shouldn’t have been selected had you filled out the application correctly and listed your spouse as accompanying. Somewhat luck of the draw for these spouse accompanying and non-accompanying point manipulation cases.
