I'm a CEC applicant residing in Canada, but lived in Hong Kong for a few years. As part of my application, I'll need to submit a Hong Kong Police Certificate, which can only be requested with an IRCC request letter with mailing address.
- End Feb: Received initial letter without mailing address, so immediately sent in a webform to request an amendment of the letter to include mailing address
- Begin Mar: Saw on this forum submitting another LOE to explain in the document section could help with getting the revised letter sooner, so did that
- End Mar: Still no response, called and IRCC told me they're working on it
- Mid Apr: Submitted another webform, only got a reply that they're working on it
- End Apr: Still no response, called and IRCC told me they're still working on it
Has anyone experienced this kind of delay with requesting the revised letter for the Hong Kong Police Certificate?
Is there any other way I can speed up this process to get the Hong Kong Police Certificate without mailing address?
