CEC but foreign employer

Hi everyone, does having a foreign employer count towards CEC? I saw a job ad wherein the position is in Toronto but upon checking, the employer is based in UK. Should I apply for this position or not? TIA

As long as the job in is Canada, this will count towards CEC.
