Does anyone know the procedure to leave canada for a week or two after landing but before the pr card is received?

I heard of the travel document but do u apply for that after leaving canada or while you're in canada. I believe its mostly for hose who have left and lost their card or something..

Please advise

If you were to enter Canada through air, a travel document is required and it can be obtained outside of Canada.

I've confirmed with the officer that I can enter Canada through land with only my passport and COPR from US.

list of things:-

1. Passport in orginal for yourself and dependants
2. COPR for yourself and dependants
3. In case of spouse dependant, Bank letter to proof both of you are staying together with enough funds.
4. In case of Child dependant, Progress report from school
5. Current company offer letter
6. Last three salary slip

Point 3,4,5 and 6 are taken in case officer want to verify.

Hi friends...I received my CoPR today after a long wait ..My CoPR does not contain the name of my Son, My Son was born here in Canada and has Canadian passport
Should his name be there in the Dependent list ?...what is the process to gt this corrected ..Any idea

Other Reqs:Cancelled means you are good. Don't listen to call center agents. If you call them back, and get a nice agent on phone, he will say different.

I will look for my MP's details, ask to speak with him regarding your CEC application. Try that

Hi everyone, I just seen my ecas has changed to decision made this morning. My question is do I have to update my mailing and home address even if I still want my copr sent to the original one they have on file or will they just send it to that one automatically

Please can any one who has experienced in asking for alternative passport request instructions for other countries let me know the wait time. I got to know it is like 2-3 weeks from other sources. Please let us know if you have exp. otherwise.

How many August 2014 applicants are still waiting for Decision Made after medical and everything else was submitted? My medicals were done back in January, 5 months ago, and still nothing except for RPRF back in March, which I paid. Now they're apparently sitting around for another eternity rather than doing anything. Called them in late May, got a very rude snippy woman on the other end saying "you just have to wait" and she refused to even check my file. I'm at my wit's end here.

Same with me. RPRF in March. My medical started in Jan ( finally done in end of March as CIC requested some additional tests). Waiting for Passport request.
