Now what after landing? I am going to Toronto Pearson.
How to get PR card? Where to approach for that?

Congrats buddy!
The PR card will be sent to you automatically to the address you will provide when you will land.
You can also get your SIN card right away at Pearson airport.
And at last you can apply for your health card at nearest Service Ontario.

Can you please share your timeline from PPR till you got the COPR?

AOR recieved: 1st Jan 2015
RPRF: 3rd March 2016
Medical request: 4th April 2016
Medicals done: 12th April 2016
Medical updated on eCAS: 22nd April 2016
Ready for visa mail(PPR): 3rd may 2016
Visa office change request by me: 4th may 2016
Ready for visa mail with visa-office change: 11th may 2016
Passport sent: 16th may 2016
Got visa and COPR: 20th may 2016

25. AUG 2014 - application sent
28. AUG 2014 - application delivered
04. NOV 2014 - credit card charged
07. JAN 2015 - AOR received
08. JUN 2015 - request for information
25. FEB 2016 - request for medical exam
15. MAR 2016 - medical results received
20. APR 2016 - RPRF reminder
21. APR 2016 - RPRF reminder apology
12. MAY 2016 - decision made
17. MAY 2016 - received CoRP
23. MAY 2016 - landed
04. JUN 2016 - new SIN card and other cards
xx. AUG 2016 - PR card expected

total = 2 years

no passport request as i'm from a visa exempt country. i was not asked for insurance, funds or previous work permits during landing. i would suggest to bring new passport photos that meet the latest specs, it can possibly avoid a lengthy delay of re-submitting a new photo after landing which i now have to do. i'll try to be pro-active and send them a couple via mail soon...

I got the same message too for the first few times. You just have to keep trying.
Its the same 1-800 number and after you hear first portion of the automated message, dial 1-1-3-1 to connect to a rep.

Its been 16 days since CIC received my Passport after the PPR..No news yet...anyone else in same boat ?....this wait gets longer and longer...

got Decision made on 12 May .. day they rcvd passport at ottawa.. spouse submitted on 13 May @ Delhi VO n got it with visa and COPR on 20 May...
me still waiting..
hopefully our return tracker will be updated in a day or two.....or atleast in this week..

CIC web is still showing "In Process"... but I've already got my passport back last Friday...

Does anyone know the procedure to leave canada for a week or two after landing but before the pr card is received?

I heard of the travel document but do u apply for that after leaving canada or while you're in canada. I believe its mostly for hose who have left and lost their card or something..

Please advise

list of things:-

1. Passport in orginal for yourself and dependants
2. COPR for yourself and dependants
3. In case of spouse dependant, Bank letter to proof both of you are staying together with enough funds.
4. In case of Child dependant, Progress report from school
5. Current company offer letter
6. Last three salary slip

Point 3,4,5 and 6 are taken in case officer want to verify.

They asked me & my wife for our Passport, COPR and a document for Address Proof. We had our Ontario Driving License, but the Officer @Rainbow bridge ended up using the BOWP that had our Toronto address. No other documents were verified, but I had taken my bank statements and Pay slips just in case.

I only brought my passport and COPR... The officer asked about employment letter, I just showed him the email on my phone and he was satisfied, but I'd recommend to bring an employment letter along.
