huh... i was given July 4 as call back date if i don't hear anything. i called the call center this morning

And what did they say?

things are moving, ever application completed its one less in the backlog that is one application out of the way of remaining applications,

its a matter of time until the backlog is over

I received a call form my MP office today. She contacted CIC and they just told her to wait until May 11, 2016 (I am Aug 11, 2014 applicant).
My file is under process, no more information...

I am not sure how MP helped you.

The same info you can get by Calling CIC directly.

The due date was 2016/02/04, it is passed. What is going on and when can i expect anything?

I have BOWP till 3-Jun-2016
In the meantime last year my current employer did ITC -WP meaning Closed permit which was applied in Jul to have it till 10-Oct-2016. But it got approved only by 5-Nov-2016. I was expecting CIC to give that permit till 10-Oct-2016. But CIC gave it till 6-Nov-2016 which is greater than BOWP permit 3-Jun-2016.

I'm still working with the same employer till now and soon my assignment is get finished by 1-May-2016. I was thinking to apply for BOWP which is ending by 3-Jun-2016 but I have Closed permit greater than BOWP will I be eligible to apply for BOWP?

Any information on this will help me to decide on my next steps.

You can still Apply for new BOWP based on your Existing BOWP.
It does not matter if you Closed Permit is valid till later this year.

Upfront RPRF paid. Waiting for 3rd line in ECAS.

I have submitted PCC for spouse and myself while I was submitting my Application in Aug 2014. After that I had traveled to my home country (India) in Dec 2014 and my spouse visited Canada in 2015 for a short term. I had traveled to US twice in 2015.

I hear that PCC is valid for 12 months, will CIC ask me for PCC again? Can anyone help me on my question? Thanks.

I have called CIC if they have received my medicals and didn't get any help answering instead they asked me to check with Doctor's office and they said it is sent to CIC and it is there in OTTAWA .

I paid upfront RPRF fee upfront on 17th Feb and received a mail from CPCO-Cost-Recovery today "Thank you for the receipt. Funds have been allocated."

I did not see any line added in ECAS will they add any line item to ECAS?

You can still Apply for new BOWP based on your Existing BOWP.
It does not matter if you Closed Permit is valid till later this year.

Thank you Corp this makes me feel better. I will start filling BOWP form and see if I get any more questions. In the meantime, I'm in a call with CIC and they are saying the same information as yours but they are still validating if that is true before confirming.

Hi Corp,

CIC Agent is saying that I can work for any employer only till 3-Jun-2016. Since my Closed permit is way beyond 4 month expiry from now, I can't apply for another BOWP until 6-Jul-2016.

They are not sure if I can work soon after me applying for BOWP by 6-Jul-2016 till 6-Nov-2016.

Please help on this if anyone know the details.

Follow the instruction and on the form choose the no of applicant in the application for whom u paying RPRF... In your case it should be 2.
