hi apardhamija,
I am from south india. yesterday cic requested me to send PCC from india. this BLS stuff is really confusing and nothing was clear. so i should ask my parents to apply PCC on my behalf.. can u explain the process how ur parents applied PCC while ur in canada?

Did u sent the PCC to cic by email or mail? Thanks

The email I got from CIC said : send the requested documents by email, hence I sent by email. Also, BLS is not confusing, go there take all the documents and ask them for PCC, if they object, max they will ask you to get permission from Indian Consulate, someone on this blog has posted details about that. If u want to ask ur parents from India, then every state has a different process, i am from Punjab so my mother had to go to local SP's office and fill a form with 4 photos of mine and copy of my indian drivers license / any id that have the same address as ur home in india.

yes you can but why to pay before the request, receiving the RPRF request is an indication if they are looking into your file or yet

Ecas still in progress,

they did not ask for any new photos, just the ones which were sent with the application

ECAS status is still in progress. They did not ask for photos.

Thank you, i think i will just wait till they asked for it. Paying upfront might not expedite the process as this point, or?
We have very smiler timeline, so hopefully they will Email me soon.

I did not upfront, until requested. Even if you do things upfront that might save you few days, I had to wait 5 weeks sharp. check my time lines before

I got medical request today and cic sent me a IMM1017E form. My confusion is I have already completed upfront medical in last sept. and send them the e-medical sheet. Any suggestion guys.

Send them the same e-sheet for your medicals as its less than 6 months that you did medicals. Also verify if your results were successfully sent by the doctor's office.

Hello everyone,

I wanted to tell you guys, if you get a PCC request and its mentioned that you send the original PCC by email, then do so, I sent my PCC by email inspite of everyone suggesting to send it the paper version to the CPC Ottawa address, CIC acknowledged that they received my PCC.
