About the process I have read that it should be in parallel. However the workflow might have changed due to the new system (EE) and all the delay.
Let's keep thinking in a positive way and hope very soon we will receive good news.

As long as you didn't receive your MR, your eligibility hasn't been approved or refused ...

kayak08 said:Hi All,
I'm 'Aug 08, 2014' CEC applicant currently working in Montreal-Quebec. I'm scheduled to move back to my Home country on Intra-Company transfer by mid-February as my Canada assignment is getting over. Meanwhile, I have received below query by CIC on my application last week -
The Canadian Experience Class is a class of persons who may become permanent residents on the basis of their experience in Canada and who intend to reside in a province other than the province of Quebec. Please respond to this email with written evidence that you intend to live in a province other than Quebec in order for me to make a final decision on your application.
Should I reply back to this query with -
- scanned copy of my return flight tickets stating about my proposed change of address
- state about my intention to reside outside Quebec for long term family future (education & spouse job)
- my failed job search attempts during tenure in Montreal (due to lack of work authorization) along with attaching those email exchanges with prospective employers in Toronto area
Request your inputs on this & any more suggestions/additions.

Didn't get any news from CIC after my MR though. Sent additional doc's in July and November (due to some issues with my former boss)... I'm waiting for my GCMS, should be there any day now.
