Hey Pearl1

I have got my PCC lately from India. Your parents just have to fill a form and give some IDs (Adhar car, PP copy) and your pictures and they have to go to local SSP office and they will issue the PCC for you. Thanks.

Vik

okay and the form is available with SSP office ?

If you just need to confirm if your medical was received, u can check it on ecas: https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=ecas&lang=en

Or can call a Call Center Agent after 15 -20 days when you did the medicals, as doctors take approx 2 weeks to send results.

You dont need GCMS notes if its only to check medicals

Oh,i have this link but didnt know they show the Medical received status here. I thought it only shows Appln received date, Start of processing date and current status which in my case right now is "in Progress".
Thank You, Thanks 'Teb' too

I'm seeing some Aug 2014 people are getting PCC request even though they supplied one during the application submission. If someone didn't leave Canada since the application was submitted, will CIC still ask for PCC? I'm on WP and expiring in less than 5 months. If I'm requested for PCC again, how do I obtain one since our country's consulate in Canada doesn't issue PCC unless you have WP valid at least for 6 months?

Check this out.
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/pcc-will-not-be-issued-due-to-implied-statusplease-help-t390236.0.html

(Assuming you from India)
Basically you need to email the Indian Consulate explaining your situation. They should reply in a day or two saying you may apply for pcc. you need to submit that letter with the pcc application to BLS.

I am not sure what Sina is talking about, such things are 100% correct and official when they are on the website not when someone on the phone says so

so just stop this alright

Need urgent help filling out the imm5669 background form.

Under list address where ive lived since 18.

Is there a requirement that i only wrote about a place where ive lived over 6 months. Or i have to mention the address of the place even if i went for a one month vacation?

Thanks

I would list all addresses that you lived at legally regardless of how long. Meaning your mail was sent there and the government was aware of your address. If you went on vacation but still had a home address I would not worry about that.

Sorry to say but it is probably going to be the case for many people. There are June/July applicants who are still waiting for MR/RPRF/PPR/COPR and they're going on month 20 next week...

i know doesnt make sense to write abt vacations but if im moving from one address to another and i take a vacation in between i would have to write abt it or else there will be a gap in my timeline and the form says dont leave any gaps.. so kinda confused..

Maybe extend the date of the address that you moved from until the end of your vacation? I guess it's really up to you and what you feel more comfortable doing. I don't think there is any harm in adding in the vacation in between, all they really want is to know what you were up to over the past year. I don't see an issue with it. Maybe just add "vacation" in brackets beside the address.
