Hi guys. I am truly happy for everybody getting MR and PPR. Just stumbled upon this news article. http://www.hilltimes.com/news/news/2016/02/01/liberal-mps-put-heat-on-mccallum-to-address-immigration-processing-mess-say-lengthy/45087

This could potentially explain why things have started speeding up. I hope that the momentum is maintained and all Aug, Sep and Oct applicants get their PR soon.

it is political decision, they can receive refugees in two months, but no progress for us for more than 1 year . Ridiculous . Totally have no idea what are they thinking . Canada's benefit ? Canada's reputation in world ?

Hey just got an email from my PM

"I was able to contact Immigration and get an update on your PR Card. It is still in process as this time, the Criminal Check is currently in process and the Eligibility and Medical checks are next. I was advised that the process should be complete by May 2016.

You may contact our office for updates at any time. I hope this information is useful for you.

Kindly advise if you require anything else pertaining to this case.
