CEC - August 2014 application

Guys, just got my ecas updated.

Permanent Residence
1 We received your application for permanent residence on August 26, 2014.
2 We started processing your application on December 31, 2014.
3 Medical results have been received.

I went for upfront meds in November.

Does it mean anything? does it mean that I basically passed medicals or that they just received the files from my doctro and that they could send me another request?

I kind of want to be excited but I am too descouraged at this point...

It also took 3 months for me to show up. It only means that they were received. But hey, if your doctor did not call you after the test, you are fine. Because if you were seriously ill, they would let you know. Nobody lets you die.

For me after doing upfront medicals, it took some 1-2 months before it appeared in ECAS and then I ordered notes and it was Passed for Medical. I am positive , it is pass for you but you might think of ordering your notes to confirm. Keep the faith.... everybody here had seen so much in life ... I am sure. God willing , we will all soon see the end of this journey.

AOR # 30 Dec 2014

I am from Calgary can you please suggest physician for Medicals ?

Just finished conversation with call centre agent. She said- "Eligibility is still under process". She really gave me some stress, because after getting MR I thought Eligibility must have been set to "Passed"..

IS there any chance CIC may send your file for "second review" after getting MR?

I called Cic today and the lady said I have passed the eligibility.
Does that mean My 2nd review is finished?
And will I get Medical notification:I know people have said cic will not send anything if one has completed medical upfront.Is there a source to it.

Why is it that some agents can access your file and see what's going on but others can't....I am starting to think that half the information they give you is just crap to get you off the phone and stop calling. It makes no sense.

Possibly....But thats what she said.. She asked for UCI no. and double checked.. Don't know how this CIC system works? When I asked whether my file is under second review, she said- She can't tell anything until eligibility is set to "Passed"... :'(

That's correct. Please guys don't get demotivated after talking to those reps. If you really want to know your status GCMS is the best shot. It is a lengthy one but you will get a certain info about your case.

Those reps are not selling anything so that's why they want to get off the phone ASAP.

Yes, their answer are really arbitrary , typical is give a wrong timeline,

but this time, MR done, then say eligibility not pass, must be insane ,

For any organization there are some SOPs to complete a procedure. I have done some good research from various sources (official and non official) and in IMO once the first analyst mark you recommended pass you will get the MR and than the senior VO will do the follow up on the work done by the analyst (junior VO).

Anyhow, even if there is a backlog or any other circumstances they can't disobey their own SOP.
