ya i have converted pdf to word file...i was trying to copy paste ..bt still its nt wrking for me

Hi Gurnim,

Two things:

1. I hope you know about ECAS status. You could go to site http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/my_application/status.asp and check your application status and share what is the current status shown there. This status would tell a lot.

2. If you could type or paste at-least the following parts of the GCMS, it would help us to help (BUT MAKE SURE THAT YOU DELETE OR mark XXXX ALL PERSONAL SENSITIVE INFO LIKE UCI no., Date of Birth, email etc., before Sharing):
a. ASSESSMENTS (page 2 or so)
b. ELIGIBILITY (page 10 or so)
c. HISTORY (Page 35 or so) Atleast 4 - 6 applications reports
This would help the forum to review..

Hi Gurnim,

To me it seems that this is a good news.

It was showing 'decision made before'..as CIC made a decision to reject the application in Jan2015 due to 'no response'.

Change to 'Application received' means that CIC have re-opened the file and are re-assessing it. This status is also matching with your GCMS notes, where it says that the file status for eligibility is OPEN now after being closed in Jan2015.

Hope all goes well and you get your MR subsequently. You should order another GCMS notes, to get latest update.

You sent a request for reconsideration, right? If so, this means they accepted that there was an error and are reviewing it again.

Hi gurnim,
Yes you can apply for BOWP since your file is in process now. As long as the file is in process, you will get BOWP.
I had seen your GCMS notes and from that notes it states that your file is re-opened and in progress on date -Feb, 24, 2015.
