On January 26, 2021 when I called, the guy said Eligibility is Recommended Pass.

Today when I called, the lady said it's In Progress.

Then when I mentioned that the status was previously Recommended pass, she said that it's still Recommended pass. I think that 'Recommended pass' is still technically 'In Progress', and depending on the agent on the phone, they may give different answers.

Recommended pass is given by junior case analyst/v.o; unless the senior officer looks into it and confirms, it will be still in progress.

Today my application completes 6 months so I decided to use it as a reason and give them a call, this time a much helpful agent told me the following updates of my file:

Eligibility: Recommended - Pass
Criminality: Passed
Security: Not started

He said that everything is looking good and now it's just a matter of waiting and that I should hear back from them. He also said that processing is taking longer because they are working with a limited number of officers.

The last update I had was from my last notes from Jan 11 where only Criminality was in progress, so that's good news.

Below update will delay Sep applications for sure. I don't know how that May date came to picture.I see from last 3 months, lot of July applicants got status but not May. Its defaulted by system or manually they mentioned date here. But overall, expect delays again

I think it's really hard to tell now who will get processed. My bf is an outland CEC applicant - AOR Sept 8 and got the same long message people posted above today. He's reaching his 6-month mark next week but we're expecting delays again... Just hope for the best. Also even if they get CoPR they can't land right now, if I understand things correctly?

I am surprised people from June July Aout are still getting their applications processed. We are in for a long wait..I think most people will get verdicts towards end of April

Called IRCC today. AOR 9th September. Eligibility was recommend passed but now the agent confirmed that it is passed and you don't need any additional documents. I am just waiting for my criminality which is in progress and security not started but according to agent he said security is already started and we get it passed directly in your profile once it's done. I asked him why background check is taking long and he said we are running with half capacity and we have lots of application pending and he assure me that everything is perfect and you will hear something good end of this month. My file is still in Sydney and they will move it to local office when my processing is done. Is there anyone whose criminality is passed from Sydney office?

Finished call with IRCC, new status is little weird;

As per agent, today she mentioned that criminality is in progress, security not started but a month ago another agent mentioned that criminality was passed and security in progress, but both agents mentioned file was last accessed on Feb 5th, 2021.
Don't know which one is correct.
