says in my eCoPR: Issued at OSC - Operation.
Not sure if it was in Ottawa or in Etobicoke.
That's Ottawa. Congratulations. Here I'm just feeling frustrated.
My AOR is April 3rd, 2021.
Meds and bio passed May 24th and 31st respectively.
Eligibility and criminality passed sometime in May as well. 2 calls to ircc in May and June confirmed this.
What I know is my application has been stuck in security not started in past 3 months.
Is there anything I can do to get this application on the go? Ircc did not request any additional documents but this wait is really holding me back. Please advise.

I have a couple of friends who have AoR in March and are still stuck in the Security clearance stage! I know it sucks, but have no idea how to accelerate the processing time. I have been in such situations and I know it is frustrating, but usually, there is nothing the applicant can do, as far as I know! I Have been living in Canada since 2014 with temporary status (student, worker,...) and can make sure that based on personal experience, the IRCC application process is far from straightforward! There have been times when I applied to renew my visa together with my wife, her visa came in 2 weeks, mine took three months!!! There is no rule in their way of work. Just be patient!

Thanks buddy. I felt the same way too. They don't have a standard system to process applications. It's basically a "pick and choose" selection. I'm CEC with 2+ years work experience in NOC B. October 15th I'll have 3 years of work experience with the same company.
I used to work with the foreign affairs(home country)dealing with 1000s of work permit/pr applications and we had a system. First come first served(FIFO). Honestly, I'd thought Canada being a 1st world country would have better organization but so far they have proved me wrong. Sorry its just my opinion.

Hi, I have a question:

I just received an email, it’s from IRCC.ClientPortal-PortailClient.IRCC@cic.gc.ca, the subject is IRCC Permanent Residence Confirmation Portal – Application #

And then it has a pdf telling me my PR was approved and the next steps are to reply to the email with name, UCI, Email, Entry date, last time i entered Canada, location last entered, currently inside canada?, if no, return date.

the signature is like the poster above me, with (GCM user ID) etc.

There is no update in my file, but yesterday when I checked I'm pretty sure I saw something that said “update” or something like that instead of “submitted”, but there was nothing when i clicked to view my file.

Basically, I'm looking to know if this is legit lol.

AOR: May 25
Medical: June 17
Biometrics : Already passed for working holiday visa
The rest is still “we are processing” etc.
