Hi All,

I just received the portal email requesting to confirm my email and landing detail.
It's faster than I've expected. I am excited to finally getting my PR.

A quick question for the PR photo. The guidance on the IRCC website mentioned it has to be taken within 6 months, by a commercial photographer in a studio. Did you guys take the photo right after getting the portal email? Any recommendations for a photo studio?

My timeline is here:

• Invitation received- April 1, 2021 (Not April fools lol)
• Application submitted- May 4, 2021
• AOR- May 4, 2021
• Medical Passed - May 21, 2021
• No Biometrics update is required as I've enrolled in 2019 when I renew the temp resident visa
• IRCC call (July 6, 2021): Agent told me eligibility has passed, background in process
• Received Portal Email - Aug 11, 2021

Hi All,

I received the login credentials right after replying the email. I've uploaded in-Canada declaration and current address.
Next step is to upload my photo. The portal prompt says that I can upload photo from my computer or cellphone. Anyone knows the specification of the photo? Can I just upload a selfie?

Upfront Medical: March 26
AOR: May 15
Medical's Passed: July 6
Biometric Request: July 6
Biometrics Completed: July 9
GU1: ~July 22
GU2: ~July 29
GU3: August 6
Portal Email: August 9

Update on timeline:
Portal Login: August 10
Uploaded Photos and Confirmed Address: August 10
eCOPR: August 11

Medical & biometric: June 11, 2021
Visa office: OSC Ottawa ( I haven't seen many people with this visa office )
Called IRCC on July 30th: Eligibility passed, Security and criminality not started
No GU so far
Do you guys think Info sharing with US is done for all CEC candidates or only those that have previously applied for US visa.
I have previously applied for US visa and visited US once.
Has anyone that visited US has seen a delay in their application ? for a reason that info sharing between US and Canada might be taking long

Not sure if that's the case because mine is also stuck at info sharing: In progress since 1+ month. I have US visa rejections.

My family and I have time in the US, and my process went quickly. I didn’t ever call to find where I was in the process though.
