Hi, i have a question regarding CEC. I have been living in alberta for 1 year now as a temporary resident on open work permit. During this time period, I have been working as full-time employee with an employer outside canada, I also filed my taxes. Does my experience working remotely with an employer who is from outside CANADA makes me eligible for canadian experience class? Can i apply for PR ? If anyone can share insights on this, would be really appreciated. Thanks

If employer is not in Canada then no. Do you get T4 from your employer? If so, no. For CEC, you want to work for a Canadian employer with paystubs that deduct EI/CPP/taxes and get a T4.

No, i don't get T4 from employer, employer buisness is not registered inside Canada, Its in UAE. I file my taxes as under foreign income.

Okay what options do i have then? Can i apply for albertan PNP as a federal skilled worker with foreign experience ? Coz currently my CRS score sits at around 430 if i take express entry route under federal skilled worker stream.

Look at Alberta PNP requirements and draws. Focus has been on specific NOCs.
