Hi! I am currently on open spousal work permit. My CRS score comes upto 441 as per the CRS tool. I have a 4 year bachelors degree done in Canada. I qualify for the first three criteria but I might be ineligible for the last one, which is regarding the '8 months of fulltime studies' (typed in bold and mention after the question).
In my 4 year degree I was fulltime student for 1 year from August 2018 fall semester to september 2019 summer semester. As for the rest I was part time student (I have VWs).
Do I qualify for additional 30 points if I was fulltime for a minimum of 8 months and part time student for the rest of the degree?

The cic website states the following :
  • English or French as a Second Language must not have made up more than half your study
  • you must not have studied under an award that required you to return to your home country after graduation to apply your skills and knowledge
  • you must have studied at a school within Canada (foreign campuses don’t count)
  • you had to be enrolled full time for at least eight months, and have been physically present in Canada for at least eight months.

I would advise that you call CIC

The Cic agent said that its fine. ill qualify for the additional 30 education points. I spoke to an immigration lawyer and she said the same. Still im a bit skeptical and worried because my PGWP was regected due to me not being a fulltime student throughout my 5 years in university. (I didn't know VWs counted and was a mistake on my part).
Thanks
