Cashed money order but no response from Central Intake

Central Intake office received my application on Oct 28,2009 and they cashed my money order on Dec 23,2009. but till now Mar 23 i have not received any letter or email from them.
What should i do

Better check your spam file folder, probably an email there. If not, send them an enquiry by mail.

Pls email the cic office urgently to know abt the status, bcoz the same has happened with me, I lost my 60 days bcoz of the same problem. I have not got any reply from them, and dd was encashed on 22nd jan and application approved on 20 Jan and i came to know for the same on 10th March the application approved on 20 jan and last date of submission of full docs is 20 may.

Contact your home country canadian visa office. perhaps they can help you as your file is transfered for further processing. At the same time, send an express mail to NS. I do not think you have much time.

Check all of your deleted emails in your trash folder, and spam folder.

I used western union money order and they told me the status.

I tried to email them but no response, then I mail them a letter and did not receive any reply. I contacted buffalo visa office, they replied and told me to contact CIO. I have no idea what to do now. This is very frustating. They should have a system to reply people because a lot of people having this problem. What did you do then?

The Money order is the first thing cashed when the package is opened. Only the money is taken out and then it will be 60/70 days before you receive a refusal or approval from Nova Scotia. So work out when your application was received.

To PMM,

It has been 2 months and 25 days since the application was received and the money was taken out 2 months after the application was received. Usually, they charge your money when they are satisfied that the all forms are correct and application may be proceed for further processing. If there is any mistake in the form or you do not meet the criteria, they will simply return the application and ask you to re-submit. Please correct me if I am wrong. As I read, most of the people got their AOR right after their money is charged. So I am assuming, may be if any email sent by them is lost.

I think you are right. if money is taken out, does not mean that you are qualified for further processing.
