"Case Specific Enquiry" - What is the time take for us to get a response?

Hi Friends,

I was wondering if there is anyone who has raised a "Case specific Enquiry" before and got a response? It would be great if you people can share the time-taken to get a response.

In my case, I submitted an application for OWP on 3rd Oct 2014 and as it has crossed the average processing time of 2months(CIC - New Delhi, India). So, I've raised a case specific enquiry today. Wish I get the passport request even before I get a response for my enquiry

No, I have not received a response yet! It is been only 2 days after I submitted the enquiry. Hope I get a response either for my OWP/enquiry soon.

I did not get response yet i did 3 months ago. After that every month but still nothing.

Hi Patel88888,

Did you raise the Case specific enquiry after the average processing time or before the time elapsed. I don't think CIC will respond to the query unless the avg processing time has expired (according to the CIC website).
