Hi guys
I am coming to Calgary very soon as a temp worker.
I will bring my international driving licence and now am preparing for my landing.
I know that Calgary has good public transport, but all the apartments that I can afford are about 1-1.5h from work, so I was thinking about buying a cheap car.
Since I don't have Canadian driving licence and I plan on buying older car (98-2002) what can I expects monthly to pay for insurance?
Also I cannot provide letter from the insurance company for my current car because the car is insured on my wife name.
I would really appreciate to know the proximate cost so I can decide if it is good to buy car.
Thanks
