Thanks for reply..
The reason i asked that because riv website says re-inspection fees is $56.xx
Well, first time inspector just looked at the car and came back to the office with the list of what to do. Maybe it was not actual inspection.
With the second car I just asked first the customer service of what needed and came back after modifications were done. That was my experience with Canadian Tire.

I would like to add a few details.
Hi, did you guys were able to import a car to Canada? I need to know if the border officer will let me fix the Dayrunning lights in Canada or do i have to fix them before crossing?

No, CBSA agents will not tell you anything about modifications, that's between you and Registrar of Imported Vehicles (RIV) in Canada.

Thanks, then i only need 45 days to get the DRL fixed and the car inspect at a canadian store. Right?
Right, I did my Mercedes with dealership in Windsor, ON. It took them a week to re-program the system and ~$250CAN. The side effect was the temperature on the dashboard in C only.
