IELTS Request
Band : 7.0 / sent with application
Hi,

I'm a female from Syria, i sent my application under the category of Professional Occupations in Business Services to Management on Aug. 21 / 2011 via DHL, and the application (as per DHL) was received by CIC ( Sydney, NS) on Aug. 29/2011, during these days the website updated the status of complete applications received and the cap of Professional Occupations in Business Services to Management was reached :(
The application is supposed to be so completed, I sent them all required documents for me and my spouse in addition to the fees, and in the assessment test my score was 72, my IELTS overall result is 7, and I'm 27 years and my husband is 31, I'm a banker and he is a telecommunication engineer, i am the main applicant.
I still did not hear anything from CIC, should I expect the application to be back soon because of reaching cap, or there might be another possibility they take a look at it and consider processing?
one more thing, when should i expect to receive an e-mail confirming either considering process or acknowledgment for returning back because cap reached?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Memo

It seems only applications received in early to mid July made it within the cap. I'd advise following these threads:

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/july-01-2011-fsw-applicantsmi-3-t74992.3360.html

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/1122-post-application-on-july-2011-lets-share-t75823.1860.html

So I think an application received on 29th August will have no chance to have made it within the cap.

Your options are
1) Wait to apply next year and hope 1122 is still on the list
2) Secure a job and apply through FSW2 or look into Provincial Nomination

Sorry, and best of luck,
Wayne.

I would also suggest you consider any chances for PNP.

In PNP you always need to have studied or lived in Canada or at least have relatives there, which is not my case!

Hi wayne, sent you a personal message. please reply

Once you can write an email mentioning causes of your early queries.

They will reply you either you application fell into or not

when you write to them do not forget mention date of birth , country of origin and your original address that you entered into application.

Do hope your package fell into cap

but they mentioned on the website that they will not reply to inquiries if the file had been received for less than 6 weeks ?
why would they reply now, it's been only 3 weeks :(

In some cases they used reply sooner too since NOC on which you have sent application package and CAP seemed fulfilled , its different cases so you can write earlier than standard time line.

More better way is to see and ensure from Bank either your draft en cashed or not

Regards

I think i will wait...
