I am a New Zealander who lived in Vietnam for 1 year. I'm now going for express entry under skilled worker. I applied for a Vietnam police check 3 months ago and haven't heard anything and have now had to submit my PR documents with a letter of explanation detailing everything I did to try to get the check.
Does anyone have any experience - either getting rejected due to not having a police check, or getting an exemption if you did everything you reasonably could to get one (without flying there and trying in person of course)? Or has anyone actually successfully gotten a police check from Vietnam and if so, what did you do to get one?
