Canadian work permit and H1B visa

Sorry, still don't understand the question. When you enter with an open work permit you have status in Canada until the expiry of your permit and you can work in any occupation (with few exceptions). What about 'visa stamp' are you asking about?

You have to visit a consulate outside of the U.S. to get the H1B visa stamp in your passport.
Given the recent H1B announcements in the U.S., I'm not comfortable commenting. It's gotten too complex for me.Scylla got it correct. I am just worried if they can deny my H1 on the fact that I am on Canadain sowp?
