Canadian work experience

I moved to Canada in Dec 2019 on a work permit and planned to apply for PR after a year. In this period, I went to India on a vacation and because of COVID-19 I am unable to return. Will this period , where I am working from home in India(Canadian payroll) will be counted as Canadian experience.

Thanks for your response. Please note that during this period, Taxation and Payslips are from Canada. I will also be returning to Canada in a month or two after travel restrictions are lifted. Does this still not count as Canadian experience ? Please advise
