I applied visitor visa for my husband on oct 23 . They said it is supposed to process in 10-15 days. I have not heard anything back. Can anything be done. Please suggest

Who is “they” that say processing is that quick? Wait a few weeks.

Where has he applied from? Which country?

The short answer to your question is that there is nothing you can do but wait unfortunately.

I applied from Canada on behalf of him. He is in India

Estimated processing time is currently 40 days. However we are seeing many applications take longer.

Ultimately nothing you can do but wait.

ircc says under the new portal for immediate family members the time is 12 days

So from India…processing can be up to 40 days. Are you PR and have you applied for sponsorship at the same time.

Yes I am PR and has also applied for the sponsorship. I applied for sponsorship on oct 5 but has not recieved even the file no

That's normal. It takes 2-3 months to receive the file / application number.
