Siblings category will be given points only if they are eligible under Express Entry in the pool. They are not unskilled as they will be people in the pool already. The issue is that IRCC want these people to get picked up ;D

McCallum never said would be given additional points that would guarantee...Even though for student he said points will increase significantly, he never said would be given bonus points that would guarantee and for him significant means a maximum of 30.

However, for siblings, he never used the word significant but only said additional points. But it might be more than students if the number of people in this category is less.

But think about it, please. Sure getting families back together is a good thing. But a person with 350 points cant expect to get 600 points which, let's face it, will be an ITA every time just because their sibling is there. A sibling the applicant may not even know! Maybe you would have to prove a close relationship like common law?

Some extra points, maybe, like 5-10. But come on, 600 is not realistic.
