Hope someone can help. My son is a PR in canada, going to university in vancouver.He is an american citizen and has a valid drivers liscense for the USA. He would like to buy a car and start driving up there. Can he drive with the American Liscense up there and buy a car< register it and get insurance without having a canadian drivers liscense? If he must get a canadaian drivers liscense does he have to start as a beginner? he's 22 and has been driving for 6 years already. Please help.....Thanks for a reply.
