Hello

I have a serious question about applying for Canadian citizenship.

I have had a Canadian PR card for 10 years.
I have an American Green Card (US PR card).

I got my US green card 3 months ago but have not moved to the US yet. My passport has a stamp and immigrant visa that I am a Permanent resident in the USA.

1. Can I apply for Canadian citizenship if I have accumulated 1095 days in Canada. ( 3 years in 5 years in Canada) ?
2. How will the officers look at it if I apply for Canadian citizenship with a US visa in my passport?

Thank you very much.

1. Yes you can.
2. Its of no concern to officer what you are holding in your passport. What matters to them is whether you are eligible for Canadian Citizenship.
