I am a Canadian citizen who studied in the US between 2017 and 2019. When I returned to Canada, I gave my I94 card to the Canadian Border Service at Fort Erie. One of my friend did the same thing and he said this was okay. I just want confirm with some of you guys here that it is totally okay to return your I94 card to the CBSA instead of the CBP. I remember the CBSA officers scanning my passport when I returned. I also heard that Canada exchange Canadian travel history with the Americans.
