Canadian/American marriage in Canada only

My finacne is American and I am Canadian. We want to get married in Canada but move to the states after we get married. I'm looking for information on how to do the marriage in Canada only. Any suggestions?

It depends on your province, but it's not treated any differently than two Canadians getting married.

I live in Alberta. All I needed was ID (my passport worked), my birth certificate, a copy of my divorce papers, and my husband with the same things. Took about twenty minutes. We also had to provide information like parents' names, birthplaces, etc.
