Canada Visa approval after the actual intended date

Hello Sir/Madam,

I have applied for Canada visitor Visa to attend/facilitate a business workshop on behalf of our company in Calgary, AB that is going to happen between the dates Dec 4 and Dec 15.

I have submitted my online application on Nov 18 and gave Biometrics on Nov 21 in LA and still waiting for the passport submission email. I'm not sure if I can get it before Dec 4 which is my actual travel date

IRCC website says that standard processing times for Visitor Visa is 18 days.

Since the travel date is getting near, what should I do if my visitor visa application(for temporary business stay for 10 days) is processed/approved after the the business meeting is completed i.e after Dec 15th

Can I still use that Visa to atleast make a tourism visit to Canada within the 6 months or should I have to apply for a new visitor Visa again

If you want to apply for tourism in the future you’ll need to apply again.

Say If I get approval from IRCC after my actual travel date asking to submit my passport, I send passport to VAC and get the visitor visa printed on my passport mailed back to me. Can't I use that use same visitor Visa for tourism? The reason I'm asking this question is that for temporary business or Tourism, there is only single visa category named "Visitor".

By your response above, if I get approval for visitor visa(short business trip for 10 days), I cannot use it to enter as Visitor(Tourist). Can you please confirm? Is there any category in Visitor visa printed on passport that distinguishes between Temporary business Visa/Tourist
