Yesterday, I submitted my application online and today I go below message.

"This is in reference to your application for temporary residence. A decision has been made on your application. We
require your passport to finalize processing your application."

Can anyone help me to understand what is the status of my application. My friend had applied 16 days ago but he is yet to get any reply.
