hi,

If my wife comes and study in Canada in student visa, will I be able to work in Canada or do I need to have any special work permit

If you are going with her on the basis of a dependent/spouse visa then you will need a work permit. In some cases, you may be able to apply for an open work permit in which you can work for any employer. Otherwise, you will need to apply for a work permit for the specific employer willing to hire you. The employer may have to get a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA). An LMIA allows an employer to hire someone for a specific job.

Simple to find and as a spouse of a study permit holder you do not need an LMIA given it is an open work permit
