Canada PR - Obligations another Q

Dear Experts

I am coming to Canada and will complete 2 years so that I can renew my PR.
My family wife and son wil follow after some months. They may fall short 6 months to complete 2 years Canada PR requirement.
In that case my Q
1. Can I go ahead and renew only my PR as I will be completing my 2 years
2. What do my family do ? I mean how do they renew their PR ?
- do I need to I sponsor them ?
- whats the process ? where do i get detail information.

It would be good if you have shared your time line, however, assuming that you are in the last section of your first five years and you have still have two years left with your PR card expiry, the reply to you questions can be as follows:

• Yes you can renew.
• Your family may or may not be able to apply after six month over their expiry (may apply after six months over expiry if not reported at POE)
• If their PR status revoked and they sent back and you still have your RO intact, yes you can sponsored them again.
