I agree with what others have said - this should absolutely not be a reason for your application to be refused under the current rules.
I hope by next year we get the final result. Our last update in ircc our pr application is transffered in Montreal. It was Sydney Nova scotia before. I don’t know why they transfer, but I am thinking maybe that’s another reason why it takes ages. Thank’s for your information.

You should be more worried about the cost of paying for private services especially in Ontario. In all of the country the wait time for public services are long.
I hope will be different here in Labrador area.and this town is really small, and remote area. I just want right now to get my kids and to get our PR status.

I think they brought a new policy last year to NOT reject immigrant applications who have special needs like speech therapy etc based on "medical inadmissibility". I think this is a great move by Canadian government,

Don't panic based on old replies.

Hello
What's your status now? Did you get PR? Do you have any idea how they process if my kid with a disability is in the application?

I got PPR few days back. Check my signature for details.

My kid is undergoing speech therapy. I have mentioned the same to physician during our medicals and she made a note of it in our kid's sheet. We passed medicals in 2 weeks after that. Timelines and process might differ for others, but there shouldn't be any rejection based on medical inadmissibility for kids.

I need some suggestions. FSW-O.

I have received medical request on Oct 18, 2021. At the time of medical exam, our panel physician examined speech delay of my 6-year old baby girl. This was declared as B grading in her health case details report. Then after 10 days, I have received an email from RMO asking for additional medical information, a report on cognitive and developmental status from a specialist paediatrician. I have submitted this requested report to our panel physician on Nov 11, 2021. From then my medical status is - "We are reviewing the results of your medical exam".

I am little worried! Is it possible to get rejection due to medical inadmissibility? What should I do if unfortunately I receive a procedural fairness letter?

Good News! We've passed the medical after 7 months.
